Third-party logistics platform

One system for the warehouse, the freight, and the client.

Receiving through shipping on the floor. Multi-broker LTL rate shopping and load tendering on the freight desk. A client portal your customers log into themselves. Built hand in hand with an operating 3PL and run in production every day.

No credit card, no trial clock — a walkthrough against your own workflow.

3 portals

Operators, clients and carriers — one login, routed by permission.

3 LTL brokers

Rated in parallel on every quote, then booked from the winning rate.

6 sales channels

Shopify, WooCommerce, TikTok Shop, Temu, eBay, plus any REST system.

2 languages

English and Chinese in the web app; English and Spanish on the handheld.

The platform

Three audiences, one system, one login

Most 3PLs run a WMS for the floor, a spreadsheet for the freight desk, and email for the client. WMS NextG is one database behind three purpose-built front doors, and a single sign-in that routes each person to the right one.

WMS — your operators

The office shell. Inventory, inbound, orders, freight, billing, payables, workforce, reports and settings, gated by a permission model with roles you define yourself.

  • Warehouses, zones, locations and dock doors
  • Custom roles built from around 200 discrete permissions
  • Real-time updates over websockets, not polling

OMS — your clients

A full self-service portal, not a read-only inventory view. Clients place orders, book their own LTL, watch cross-dock loads, pull reports and settle invoices without emailing your team.

  • Orders, inbound, returns and live inventory
  • Their own LTL quoting, invoices and payments
  • Their own users, roles and API keys

Load board — your carriers

Brokers and carriers get their own shell to see posted loads, reserve them and track what they have won — with rate and customer detail redacted server-side, not just hidden in the interface.

  • Post manually, in bulk, or on a schedule
  • Email notification with a direct link to the board
  • Machine API with per-partner keys

On the floor

Every stage of the move, on a scanner

Work is directed, not remembered. Putaway tasks are generated on receipt, counts are sequenced along the warehouse's own pick path, and every movement writes an inventory transaction you can trace back.

Receiving against ASNs, with photo capture

Directed putaway from a work queue

Order, batch and multi-order run picking

Packing and shipping with label purchase

Cycle counts in walk order

Returns and RMA intake through disposition

Cross-dock: container in, loads out, no putaway

Pallet and carton license plates

Lot numbers and expiry dates

Moves by location, SKU or pallet

The handheld

Android scanners, properly supported

A native app for Android handhelds and PDAs — not a phone-shaped copy of the website. It reads hardware laser triggers as well as the camera, and prints where the work happens.

  • Hardware PDA scanners and camera scanning, detected per device
  • Label printing over Bluetooth, network or IPP — ZPL, TSPL and ESC/POS
  • Built-in document scanner with edge detection and de-skew for signed BOLs
  • Time clock with geofencing and face verification
  • Signed over-the-air updates, verified before install

Freight & parcel

A freight desk, not a shipping tab

Quote LTL across every broker account on the platform — ours, yours, or both — book from the winning rate, and post what you cannot cover to a board your carriers already watch.

Multi-broker LTL rate shopping

One quote request fans out in parallel to every broker account on the platform and comes back as one comparable list. Book from the winning rate, get the BOL, track the shipment, pull the documents.

Load board with auto-posting

Post a load to your carrier network by hand, in bulk, or on a schedule. Reserve, revoke and notify are all first-class, and the broker's view is redacted on the server.

Automated tendering

Post a load and it is offered to your tendering partner automatically, with the tender withdrawn the moment another carrier wins it. One live tender per posting, enforced in the database.

Parcel labels and rate shopping

Rate and buy parcel labels through a single gateway covering FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, GOFO and UniUni — and see whether a rate came from your client's negotiated account or yours.

Invoice reconciliation

LTL invoices are matched back against what was quoted and booked, so a reweigh or an accessorial surfaces as a variance instead of quietly eroding the margin on that lane.

Drayage and appointments

Container appointment lookup, plus a tokenized scheduling link the drayage company opens straight from the delivery-order email — no account, no password to reset.

Integrations

Orders arrive on their own

Connect a client's storefront once and orders flow in, fulfilments flow back, and inventory stays in step. For anything without a prebuilt connector there is a config-driven REST connector and a documented public API.

Shopify WooCommerce TikTok Shop Temu eBay Any REST WMS or OMS

Build on it yourself

  • Public REST API with a published OpenAPI spec partners can read before they have a key
  • Scoped API keys, issued by you or by your clients from their own portal
  • Outbound webhooks on order events
  • Shopify fulfilment-service registration, so your warehouse appears as a real location

Billing & reporting

The part most systems make you do in Excel

3PL billing is not an add-on here. Charges are minted automatically from the work that actually happened, and the reporting layer is a query builder rather than a fixed list of reports.

Client billing

  • Storage by tier, day or pallet
  • Inbound, outbound and parcel rates
  • Palletizing and wrap materials
  • Invoices, payments and credit hold

Accounts payable

  • Vendor invoices with aging
  • Automated freight reconciliation
  • Drayage cost rates
  • Approval and pay as separate permissions

Reporting

  • Self-serve builder over a semantic layer
  • Saved presets and time ranges
  • PDF and Excel export
  • Available to clients in their portal too

Dock & gate

The yard stops being a phone call

Drivers check themselves in from a QR code at the gate. The system matches them against expected loads, flags the mismatches, estimates the wait, and tells the floor which door to open — all in real time.

Dock doors with status and direction

Visual dock map with real positions

Candidate-load matching on check-in

Statistical wait-time estimates

Driver ID capture and review

Out-of-service reasons that stick

Workforce

Hours that match the work

The same handheld the floor already carries is the time clock. Punches are geofenced and can be verified by face, so a shift belongs to the person who worked it.

  • Geofenced punch in and out
  • Face enrolment with liveness checking
  • Overtime calculation and timesheet export

Isolation & security

Your clients cannot see each other. Structurally.

Tenant separation is enforced at the data layer, not by remembering to add a filter to a query. Every table carrying a tenant key is classified, and a test fails the build if a new one is added without being classified — so a table cannot quietly escape scoping.

Two-level tenancy: operator, then client

Warehouse scoping on top of both

Two-step verification, by app or email

Trusted devices for 30 days

Broker credentials encrypted at rest

API keys stored hashed, never recoverable

Why it exists

Built hand in hand with an operating 3PL, because nothing on the market fit the way the floor actually ran.

Every part of it is in daily use — receiving, picking, freight, billing and the client portal. Features land because an operation needed them, and they ship after being used on a real dock, not after a roadmap review.
